International Polar Bear Day is today, so it’s a perfect time for animal lovers to come together to celebrate these rare and beautiful creatures this Thursday. This unofficial holiday is held every Feb. 27 as an annual tradition of sorts, and serves to bring greater awareness of the vulnerable species to the public at large.
